They say it’s a rule to always travel light. For some, especially women, this rule is not possible at all. When you will travel to another place, you don’t really know what exactly will happen to you there so travelling prepared is more favorable rather than travelling light.

Preparing must not be stressful. Fortunately, there are simple steps you can follow in order for you to be prepared for your trip. Be sure to perform all these steps and nothing will go wrong with your trip.

Step 1 – Make a list

During the preparation stage, the first thing you must do is to list all the things you need. To make it a lot easier, you can note down in a piece of paper all the things you believe you need when you travel. You won’t see here the “list” of the things you need because these are your needs. It will be up to you to decide what your needs are, or else I may just be giving you the things I need and not yours.

  1. Standard – a standard luggage is the one you see in hotels. These are luggage with wheels for ease of transport. Since these are usually big, it can carry a lot of huge bags and definitely not the luggage cart you need when travelling.
  2. Personal – from the term itself, this type of luggage can be suitable for you since it can be folded. This typical luggage consists of four wheels, a handle, and a flat surface for your things. This can be the perfect choice for you when travelling.
  3. Compact – these carts are usually bigger than the personal type but a lot smaller than the standard ones. This type is perfect when the things you will carry must not be damaged, tampered, or dragged.

Step 3 – Organzie your luggage

When you finally have chosen the most perfect luggage cart for you, the next step is to arrange the luggage well. Make sure the arrangement is in a way where every space is being utilized. When you do that, you will be able to bring more stuff.

Step 4 – Mark your luggage

Before you head out on your trip, make sure that your entire luggage have some identification card to prove that they are yours. This is very important before you travel because not all the time you will have your luggage with you so there is a chance of losing or misplacing it. it can be best if you have locks to keep the things inside safe too.
